Temporarily block your calendar to new bookings.
Overview:
We all know that life happens! There are times when you are unavailable and need to block your calendar for an extended period of time. Some examples are:
- You are unwell or recovering from illness
- Your car has been damaged and is out of action
- You don’t want to work on Public Holidays
- You are going on a holiday (allow extra time in the event of transit delays or jet lag)
- You work a rotating roster and are waiting for it to be issued
This is an important step in keeping your calendar up to date and ensuring a great learner experience. It is really quick and easy to do.
Important
Blocking your calendar will mean that learners are unable to book with you, it will not reschedule or cancel any existing bookings. If there are existing bookings you need to move, please refer to our support articles:

This video will walk you through how to temporarily block your calendar. You are able to adjust the playback speed in the settings menu ⚙️.
How to temporarily block your calendar:
Step 1.
Log in to your instructor account.
Step 2.
From the menu, select Calendar
Step 3.
In the right, click Create event
Step 4.
Click Create Personal Event.
Step 5.
Enter an Event Name (eg. unwell, holidays, unavailable).
Step 6.
Adjust the dates and times for the period of time you are unavailable
Step 7.
Click the dropdown next to Choose the type of event and select Personal event (not a driving lesson)
Step 8.
Click Create Event .
You should now have a blue Personal Event. This will prevent you from receiving any new bookings.
