This will be useful if:
You are a Driving Instructor User of the EzLicence booking platform.
You are trying to:
Understand the EzLicence Booking Modification Policy.
Overview:
At EzLicence, we understand that flexibility is essential when plans change. Our Booking Modification Policy provides clear guidelines for editing, rescheduling, or cancelling bookings. This policy ensures that all modifications are handled fairly and transparently, whether initiated by the learner, the instructor, or EzLicence. By defining the processes and time frames for making changes, we aim to maintain a smooth and equitable experience for everyone involved.
If you need to modify a booking, please keep the following in mind:
- All modifications must be made through the EzLicence platform
- Providing as much notice as possible to the learner ensures a better experience for everyone
- Maintain clear, concise, and professional communication at all times
- Whenever possible, aim to reschedule a booking rather than cancelling

Misuse
Misuse of booking modifications by Instructors includes, but is not limited to:
- Cancelling more than 3 times on the same learner
- Cancelling bookings in favour of a private learner
- Cancelling due to a perceived low payment rate for a booking
- Asking a learner to cancel on your behalf
- Repeated instances of last-minute cancellations
- Cancelling a learner’s first booking without a valid reason. Below are some examples of a valid reason:
- You have issues with your car preventing you from delivering bookings;
- You or a member of your immediate family experienced a medical emergency;
- Your doctor has advised that you are unable to work;
- Severe weather warnings
Consequences
Driving instructors found to be misusing the system or engaging in discriminatory cancellation behaviour may face disciplinary actions, including warnings, temporary suspension, or removal from the platform.
